Tyler and I got into a conversation this weekend about how the Oscar winners for best picture are usually movies that no real down to earth movie goers have seen, rated R either for language, violence, or sexual content, or their completely weird movies. We decided to change that...We thought that Oscar winning movies should make you feel good, and be a movie that you can totally watch ALL THE TIME. So we went online and found a list of the 100 top grossing movies for 2000-2009 and picked our own Oscar winners. (p.s. I totally wanted to pick Elf for the 2003 Oscars, but Tyler wouldn't let me, I still think that is the best movie ever made!)

2003: Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

2008: Iron Man (actual winner: Slumdog Millionaire)
2009: The Blindside (actual winner: The Hurt Locker)
If you haven't seen any of the movies we have chosen, go out and rent them!!!!
